JAY — Jill Gingras has been on the job 4 months and is having fun with her new place because the city’s monetary director and treasurer.

Gingras went again to highschool and graduated from the College of Maine at Farmington in 2016 with a double main in inventive writing and visible arts.
She began work for the city beforehand because the deputy clerk and labored with Ronda Palmer, the city clerk and workplace supervisor, and Lori Shink, deputy tax collector. She did the payroll. She labored alongside now-retired treasurers Linda Brundage and Lisa Bryant, who additionally held the monetary director place. Bryant retired Aug. 27 after 24 years with the city.
Previous to rejoining the city, Gingras had been working as a legislative technician within the Maine State Legislature’s Workplace of the Revisor of Statutes in Augusta.
